Types of data processed and purposes
1. Browsing data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects but, by its very nature, could allow users to be identified through processing and association with data held by third parties. This category includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server response (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment.
This data is used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning, and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) in the security of the site and monitoring its proper functioning.
Retention: technical logs are kept for a maximum of 30 days, save for legal obligations or the investigation of offences.
2. Data voluntarily provided by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of communications to the contact details provided on this website (email, certified email, telephone) entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's contact data, necessary to reply, as well as any personal data included in the communication.
Purpose: handling of the request and subsequent correspondence, possible evaluation of commercial or professional relationships.
Legal basis: execution of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) or legitimate interest in replying to received requests.
Retention: for the time necessary to fulfil the request and for any subsequent legal obligations (particularly tax and accounting obligations in the event of commercial relationships entered into).
Processing methods
Personal data is processed by automated means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorised access.
Data recipients
The personal data collected is not communicated to third parties nor disseminated, except:
- legal obligations or requests from the Judicial Authority;
- technical service providers (e.g. hosting, email) appointed as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
